Cecily Riley was born in Berkeley and raised the East Bay.  A jack of all trades and a master of fun, Cecily aka Rooster, goes the extra mile to ensure that the job gets done right!

Chaney Turner
Entertainment Director

Born and raised in Oakland, Ca. Chaney Turner is the founder of Social Life Productions a promotion and event production company providing events in Oakland and the greater Bay Area since 2007. Chaney loves her job and works hard to provide quality events, her belief is that music and dancing is a great way to relieves stress. She has produced many events in Oakland including her very first party called Fresh. From there she went on to produce Fluid and most recently Speaker Boxx. She is also the event coordinator for the Laurel Street Fair in Oakland. She has worked with Ankh Marketing promoting concerts such as Lauryn Hill, Rock the Bells, Mary J. Blige and Marsha Ambrosius. Chaney has collaborated with Movement productions working on other events such as; Bliss women’s weekend in Palm Springs and 510 Oakland Pride weekend.

Charleen Caabay
Outreach Director

Born in the east coast of Central Jersey, raised in the Bay area half her life and finally resides in Oakland, California. Charleen Caabay (aka Chikun), a woman of color – Filipina decent, has geared her support and energy into building positive relationships with one another, in hopes for a greater Queer community. Actively promoting for different women events in the Bay area – Goodtimes, Hotbox, Bliss, and Eden. Always on the move, and eager to build. Outside of the lime light, she’s found love with satisfying many appetites catering to many, as owner and chef of Kain’bigan. Charleen is out and about and wants to meet you on how we can make things happen!

 

 

Eileen Florendo
Logistics Director

Eileen Florendo has been working with the LGBTQQI community since 2000 in southern and northern California. She started off getting involved doing HIV/AIDS prevention work and now currently with Eden Pride Events. She’s been part of the Eden Street Team since 2010 promoting events such as Hotbox, Good Times, Oakland Pride 510, Bliss, and Eden. She also assists Kain’bigan, who caters food at many of the Eden events.

Eileen has admired Eden Pride Events for their work with the Queer community and Oakland’s community based organizations. Eileen currently also works with Covenant House California as a Life Skills Case Manager for transitional aged homeless youth. Tying her two worlds together has been very important to her because she is working towards becoming a therapist for the LGBTQQI community.

 

Nabrina Maynard
VIP/Celesbian Liaison

In her early twenties, Nabrina began going to school for Anesthesiology while working in retail for fashion. During this time, though excelling at her program, she quickly learned her passion and decided to pursue her new found love of fashion.

Currently, Nabrina attends San Francisco’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and major’s in Product Development. She plans to utilize her knowledge and hard work ethics towards her current company, an International French luxury brand who also specializes in Couture.

From her work experiences, she evolved and became involved in strategic private event planning amongst her clientele. These triggered down to becoming engaged to publicly successful events. Last year, she assisted with the Celesbians for Eden’s 2011 Pride Events and has encouraged Nabrina to continue this year due to its’ success.

 

Shanta Franco-Clausen
Marketing

“Living my life like it’s Golden” is Shanta, known as Shay to her friends, motto. She is a true Chicago-Rican, but she call the Bay Area my home. Along with her wife, she raises three amazing kids, so being a great role model, is rather important to her. She plays Flag Football for the San Francisco “Rebel’s” and does a lot of volunteer hours, coaching youth athletics, in her community. She works for one of the best Marketing Firms in the Silicon Valley, with a strong focus Social Media (B2B & B2C). She loves meeting new people, making great connections, because she is a social butterfly. She plays hard, but is very committed to getting her priorities done.  She is currently working towards a degree in Business Law and hopefully will be attending Law School by next year. She and her wife are planning on opening up a cafe, called “Yoshay Kafe,” a self-sustainable cafe; that will host events, art workshops for families and bring awareness to our communities.

Angie Enofore

Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Angie moved here 3 years ago in hopes of finding herself and having a great time while doing so. She’s a 21 year old broadcasting student with big dreams and an even bigger personality. She is a previous intern for MYX TV and marched in last year’s SF Pride Parade for The Real L word. This is her first time dabbling in event promotion – joining the Eden family.

 

 

 

 

 

Daniella Jimenez

A native of San Francisco, Daniella is a full-time Marketing professional by day and an LGBT events advocate by night.  Daniella utilizes her love for the Bay Area and the LGBT community in hopes of bringing everyone together for a good time, while supporting her friends who bring together some of San Francisco’s best ladies’ parties.  In her spare time she loves to write poetry / spoken word and train in the art of Muay Thai Kickboxing!   Focusing on surrounding herself with good vibes and amazing people, she looks forward to bringing her energy to Eden this year and more to come!

We are a dynamic duo. We live in Monterey and Come from a background of marketing and entertaining. We are excited to be a part of the Eden Street Team. Kristen Lee

Kristen Lee is a transplant to the Bay from Los Angeles and has been partying, promoting and producing events since 2010.  She is a former Board Member of the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center in San Jose where she began getting involved in the nightlife scene.  Kristen has helped promote for She Said…, TWERK, 4Bidden, The Real L Word and is a Host for the Supperclub, SF.

After having amazing experiences each year at Eden, Kristen is ecstatic to be a part of the street team this year and hopes that women from all over the globe will be able to come to Eden where they will have an unforgettable pride experience!
